We ordered the signature Curry Chicken Kapitan and Char Kway Teow (both highlighted with the chef hat sign), and they were outstanding. The Curry Chicken Kapitan featured a rich, aromatic sauce with tender chicken pieces, slow-cooked in spices, lemongrass, and coconut — perfect with steamed rice. The Char Kway Teow was smoky, flavorful, and well-balanced with prawns, squid, and bean sprouts, showcasing great wok-hei. A truly satisfying meal and definitely a place I’d recommend coming back to.

I was here today with my family in search of "bak chor mee." It was nice enough if you are away from Singapore. However, we found the char kway teow and the KL Hokkien Mee to be very good - even though the former lacked blood cockles. And the Teh Tarik here was also very good.

We finally had a chance to visit Danny’s kopitiam - we went on Friday night - ordering KL hokkien mee, prawn mee , char keow Teow. It was delicious so we went again today for lunch . This time we ordered popiah, wat tan hor and Fried rice. Hands down - best popiah in Melbourne . We were surprised they could match Malaysia’s popiah. The owner, Danny was so friendly . He and his staff kept the place clean and pleasant . We took away curry chicken , Chee Keok Cho/ pork trotter, Bak Chang and kangkung fried in belacan. It’s so yummy …will be back next week

It is always good experience dining in here. Warmth hearty food, especially today's curry laksa, it isn't the very strong taste of broth, it is balanced in everything.

Having read about this very popular Malaysian restaurant, we had it on our list to visit—and we finally made it there! We were warmly welcomed by the man himself, Danny, a charming and lovely man who made the experience even more enjoyable.
